Brett Favre is expected to meet with NFL Vice President of Security Milt Ahlerich on Tuesday but the league gave the Vikings quarterback the opportunity to get the meeting out of the way last week.
According to ESPN, Favre declined the opportunity to talk with the league last Thursday, Friday or Saturday and that Monday and Tuesday were the final options. NFL officials want to discuss the allegations that Favre sent inappropriate pictures and messages to former Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger when he played for the team in 2008.
Favre could be subject to either a fine or suspension under the league's personal conduct policy if it's found he was in violation of that policy. ESPN's Chris Mortensen said Goodell would meet with Favre only if the investigation continued.
We'll be getting to the Metrodome just after noon so keep checking back for updates.
