Vehicle in fatal crash rolls, hits power pole in Itasca County

The Min­ne­so­ta State Patrol was in­ves­ti­gat­ing a fatal crash in I­tas­ca County on Sat­ur­day night.

The crash hap­pened a­bout 6:15 p.m. as a Chrysler Town and Country traveled east on I­tas­ca County Road 28, ap­proach­ing Hwy. 6 in an area known as the Deer Lake Un­or­gan­ized Territory, the pa­trol said.

The ve­hi­cle skidded through a stop sign, rolled and struck a pow­er pole, ac­cord­ing to the pa­trol.

Oth­er de­tails were not yet avail­able as the investigation was continuing Saturday night.
