Spring trunk show

Gallery 360's spring trunk show will showcase four -- that's right, four -- local designers' complete spring collections. Highlights should include the ubiquitous kjurek couture by Kimberly Jurek, whose acid-bright '70s silhouettes in linen, silk and cotton will be perfect come summer, and one-of-a-kind eco-friendly handbags by (h(om)e) by Heather Hambrecht. Also available will be Susan Shinnick's hand-dyed, screen-printed silk apparel, and bias-cut silk pants by Universal Pants. (6-9 p.m. Thursday 5/8.)

B-Squad moves

Vintage lovers, take note: B-Squad Vintage has moved to 3500 Nicollet Av. S. Vintage fashionistas have flocked to this south Minneapolis store since 2005 to scoop up its mainly '80s-era dresses and accessories. But B-Squad is more than a vintage clothing boutique (though it's that in spades); it's also known for its collection of classic records good enough to make a fan of Transmission DJ Jake Rudh. The store also has great vintage T-shirts, which it sells for far less than it could net on, say, eBay. (www.b-squad.com)
