Fashion: Shades of Grey

At Cliche's annual Avoid the Grey fashion show at Old Arizona, attendees were still mixing in neutral colors.

What are you wearing? My roommate's shirt, shorts from Cliché, American Apparel tights, Jeffrey Campbell shoes.

Describe your style: Right now I appreciate clothes that are comfortable and warm. I am attracted to rustic colors and fabrics. Sweaters.

Favorite fashion blogs: Lately I've been looking at a lot of ffffound.com. It has been really inspiring.

Any cold weather skin-care tips? I wish.

Renate Adjei

26, apparel designer; work with adults with disabilities

What are you wearing? Renate Adjei dress, earrings from Arc thrift store, necklace borrowed from my mother, BCBG shoes.

Describe your style: Comfortable, classic and very feminine.

What do you do to avoid the grey? Wear my African print dresses or accessorize a pair of jeans or skirt with a colorful blouse.

What are you wearing? Glasses by Prism of London, H&M blazer, the skirt was a gift, Vera Wang for Kohl's tights, Aerosoles shoes.

Describe your style: My favorite type of clothing to design and drool over is menswear, and I think that's reflected in my style.

What do you do to avoid the grey? Literally speaking, nothing. I love mixing neutrals.

Favorite fashion blogs? The Sartorialist, Garance Doré, the GQ Eye, Trnds.

What are you wearing? Top from Bebe, leggings from Express, necklace from my mother, Charming Charlie glasses and boots from Nordstrom.

Describe your style: I love mixing textures and patterns with accessories to create an edgy, sexy look.

What do you do to avoid the grey? I love rock climbing, running, scuba, shopping excursions and travel.
