À gogo is a French expression meaning "galore" -- and rock 'n' roll hair will definitely be in abundance at this weekend's show at the Amsterdam. Local salons Accolades, Euphoria, Miyagi, Moxie, Rocco Altobelli and Taj and the Aveda Institute are teaming up for an evening of looks inspired by rockabilly, new wave, punk, glam-rock and hair metal, with proceeds benefiting breast cancer education.

Fashion and art take a cue from Minnesota Opera's production of "Madame Butterfly" with Cio-Cio Sassy, an artful runway show inspired by the classic opera. The event will showcase artfully inspired looks by local designers Kerry Riley, Emma Berg, Samantha Rei Crossland, Tim and Thom Navarro, Anna Lee, Russell Bourrienne, Caroline Hayden and others, as well as live manga portrait sittings and interactive Japanese paper demonstrations.
