Motto opens

After standing empty for nearly two years, the store that was home to designer boutique Intoto for more than 20 years has been reoccupied. Motto is the new name being affixed to the two-story converted house, and while it's retaining Intoto's "Get Dressed" neon sign, expect a world of difference inside. New owners Maria Walker and Maryn Bulygo promise a full-service shopping experience, including wardrobe consultation, personal shopping and interior design services, in addition to a mid-range selection of women's and men's clothing, accessories, home décor, gifts and an apothecary.

Cliché Hair Industry Night

Hairstylists are the unsung heroes of fashion shows, typically having to work around the needs of a client -- be it a designer, boutique or publication. But with Cliché's Hair Industry Night, stylists get center stage. For the event's spring edition, stylists from Tres Jolie, Sweeney Todd's, Audaciastyling and Moxie will design looks based on their favorite bugs. Thankfully, the savings aren't limited to industry workers -- everyone can get in on the 20 percent discount on everything in the store during the event.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
