Athenaeum: A Study in Fashion

Geek fashion gets its moment with a joint show by Heather Luca and Tara Reich. Luca's line, Scoundrelle's Keep, celebrates steampunk and neo-Victorian style through impeccably made corsets, petticoats, bloomers and skirts, while Reich specializes in sci-fi-inspired silhouettes rendered in wool, silk and cotton.

Cliché's hair salon night

Known as much for its creative in-store events as for its ahead-of-the-trends selection, Cliché is exploring the many looks of Madonna for its MNfashion Week party. Hairstylists and makeup artists will showcase over-the-top hair and beauty looks inspired by the Material Girl on models decked out in clothing and accessories from the boutique. And for those desperately seeking a new fall wardrobe, everything in the store will be 20 percent off.
