Men's fashion is always a bit neglected in the Twin Cities, but a new locally based blog gives menswear some fresh exposure. The exceptionally well-designed Trnds (www.trnds.com) is a project of Corey Tenold, a Web developer for space150 and Vision model, who brings his personal, stylized touch to the content. So far, items of interest have included Brooks Brothers ties, Tom's shoes and Topman suits, plus local designers Annie Larson and Raul Osorio. Now local dudes don't have an excuse not to step it up in the style department.

Some more news on the local menswear front: Neckwear line Freedom From Doubt -- designed by yet another Vision model, Jared Zachary -- has launched two new spring lines. The Nicholas Collection consists of cotton, leather and knit bow ties in pastel colors and prints, while the Wesley Collection features bow ties in wild prints and one covered in studs. The pre-tied, hand-crafted bowties are sure to add pop to the stylish guy's wardrobe. ($50-$70. www. freedomfromdoubt.com.)
