Just in time for Mother's Day, the Walker Shop's Local Artist Jewelry Mart is back with selections from more than 20 local artisan jewelers. Artists include Yen Chee, whose sterling silver, quartz and onyx designs are inspired by exotic Malaysian gardens and ancient moldings, and Annika Kaplan, whose edgy yet delicate, blackened sterling silver pieces are unique and wearable. Plus: a trunk show from botanical-inspired textile line Rectangle Designs.

Local Etsy contingent HandmadeMN returns to the Uptown VFW for its semiannual market. It's always packed with crafty-cool, Mother's Day gift-ready goods from more than 45 DIYers and artists, including beeswax candles from SweetBeeHoney, skin care products from BodyBlissOrganics, framed artwork of Minnesota icons by redshoes26designs and jewelry made of layered acrylic and magazine prints by Jennifer Merchant. The first 25 shoppers will receive a swag bag.
