Fine jewelers in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District are teaming up with guest jewelry designers for a studio crawl from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Highlights include Kristin Berwald of steampunk-inspired line Bionic Unicorn and Brittany Foster in the Casket Arts Building; studiomates Betty Jaeger, Britta Kauppila, Susan Frerichs and Emily Johnson joined by artist Allison J. Johnson at the Northrup King Building (studio 435); and Karin Jacobson and guest artist Tia Keobounpheng of Silver Cocoon at Northrup King (studio 288).

W7 Social

W7 Collective's monthly weekend studio openings have gathered artisans, designers and crafters for a year now, and they're celebrating with a party Friday (7-9 p.m.) and artist meet-and-greet. This month's offerings include Louise Bags and Totes by Nora Mirick Guerrera, who recently had a stint at Donna Karan; crocheted accessories from Attagirl by Kedrin and letterpress cards and paper goods by Vandalia Street Press.
