The design experts behind Art & Architecture and Junkmarket Style are joining forces on a weekend event that includes a massive flea market, live music, cooking demos, seminars on the art of "junking" and a fashion show. Junking is a style of interior decor that repurposes weathered objects for maximum charm and character. The always-eclectic, vintage-inspired Anthropologie is hosting a spring fashion show on Sunday.

The Shops at Excelsior & Grand are celebrating spring with sales, giveaways and trunk shows just in time for Mother's Day. There will be plenty of shopping opportunities to pick up something for Mom -- or better yet, bring her along.
