Alhough Cliché's annual summer runway show has been put on hiatus, local designers are still getting a summer showcase via an in-store open house, trunk show and salon-style fashion show this weekend. New looks from Ivan Idland, Danielle Everine and Elena Mercurio will be shown on live models and available for purchase. Be sure to get there early and get first dibs on your favorite looks.

Eco-conscious lifestyle store Twin Cities Green closed its doors last month after a successful stint in Uptown, but its owners are reopening a new shop, Moss Envy, in a location near Whole Foods in Minneapolis. Husband-and-wife owners Ryan and Tina North are expanding to include earth-friendly clothing and building materials (paint, flooring and countertops), in addition to their popular furniture and home items, energy-saving gadgets and bath-and-body offerings. The grand opening this weekend will include treats and giveaways.
