Blood Is the New Black
L.A. designer Brian Lichtenberg is known for his impossibly offbeat designs, and his designs for the limited-edition T-shirt line Blood Is the New Black are no different. His "RIP YSL" T-shirt, released shortly after legendary designer Yves Saint Laurent's death in 2008, pays tribute to the designer's logo while reappropriating it. His "Pearls" shirt is similarly provocative. Local boutique ROBOTlove is carrying the high-quality T-shirts, including one other style. The YSL version is sold out.
