Don't miss the following Saturday morning events at the following farmers markets:

At the Midtown Farmers Market, the Indian Health Board of Minneapolis is co-sponsoring a don't-miss exhibition by Native Pride Dancers, live music by Blue Dog and free T-shirts, while supplies last.

At the Minneapolis Farmers Market, Marty Bergland of the Minnesota State Horticultural Society will offer helpful tips on preserving this year's bumper crop of zucchini, green tomatoes and apples. 10:30 a.m.

It's all about apples at the Mill City Farmers Market, when the University of Minnesota's tasting booth will be demonstrating applesauce techniques and offering info on the wide selection of Minnesota-grown apples (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Meanwhile, the friendly crew from the market's popular Aunt Else's Aebleskiver stand will be offering lessons (and free samples) on how to make the Danish taste treat. Learn how to pair apples with cheese (from an Ames Farm expert) and sample freshly pressed cider from Sweetland Orchard. 10 a.m.
