FX is back to tell more stories of crime and shady characters on Season 2 of "Fargo," and the first two promos from the anthology series feature Patrick Wilson, Ted Danson and Kirsten Dunst, who may all be up to no good.

Wilson takes over the role of a young Lou Solverson, the older character played by Keith Carradine in Season 1. In the first promo for his character, he's seen meeting with Ted Danson's character, Sheriff Hank Larsson.

Meanwhile, Dunst's beautician character Peggy Blomquist appears to be weighed down by a guilty conscience as she washes her hands — stained red — in a sink. It turns out to be red hair dye, not blood, but the point is made.

Set in 1979, the sophomore run of "Fargo" will focus on Solverson, four years back from Vietnam, now a Minnesota state patrolman and devoted husband.

Jean Smart and "Breaking Bad" alum Jesse Plemons are also part of the upcoming season.

"Fargo" is produced by MGM Television and FX Productions.
