Rock the Cradle

Children are invited to party like rock stars at this annual event. The Current DJs will spin kid-friendly tunes as well as read some of their favorite books. The Bunny Clogs, Duke Otherwise and others perform live. Take a break from dancing to participate in a variety of art and theater activities. (11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun. Free. Time capsule at Ramsey House

Election season is in full swing and what better place to learn about historical political figures than the Alexander Ramsey House? Explore the former home of Minnesota's first territorial governor and hear about President Rutherford B. Hayes' visit to the house.
