WINTERFEST

Go wild with a discovery of wildlife. Get a little exercise with snowshoeing. Afterward, warm up at a bonfire and make nature crafts. Learn about feeder styles and the variety of seeds preferred by different avian creatures. Go on a scavenger hunt and find out about winter survival. If you're looking for something unique, check out the items in the Friends of Sherburne Nature Store. Retail items include sandhill crane lapel pins, clothing, books and other gifts. RUSIN CULTURE FESTIVAL AND FAIR

Learn about Slavic countries through genealogy displays, cultural demonstrations. Carpatho-Rusyn Society president John Righetti will present the lecture, "Rusin, Russian or Slovak?"
