JUDY GARLAND FESTIVAL

The annual tribute to one of Minnesota's most popular celebrities has activities for lovers of the Hollywood star. Highlights include a gala dinner Friday honoring Andy Williams, a screening Saturday morning of "The Wizard of Oz." Also appearances by original Munchkin Karl Slover, a local production of "Meet Me in St. Louis" by the Grand Rapids Players, a show of Garland's gowns from collector Michael Siewert and more.

Back to the '50s Weekend is all muscle and no fat with more than 11,000 street rods, customs, classics and restored vehicles, dating from 1964 and earlier. Other attractions include live music, a swap meet, Kid's World activities, and more than 350 vendors and auto exhibits.
