Family spotlights: Classic car show and Sibley Historic Site

The Ignitors is a group of young street rodders. They are showing their cars at the Back to the Fifties Weekend at the State Fair. Fowler is from Anoka. Shiny antique automobiles will line the street for onlookers. See unusual sports cars, one-of-a-kind custom cars and more. While there, take a ride on the historic Como-Harriet Streetcar.

          SIBLEY HISTORIC SITE OPENING WEEKEND

          Sibley Historic Site opens for the season next weekend. Tour some of the state's oldest buildings while learning about the fur trade. Exhibits explain the history of Mendota and its connection to Minnesota's first governor, Henry Sibley.
