A community festival with police and fire demonstrations. Jam to live music at a block party. Other attractions include a business expo, car show, helicopter and pony rides and big-wheel races. Library bike tour

Get fit and have a history lesson at the same time. Families are invited on a tour of three Hennepin County libraries in Minneapolis. The tour begins at the Linden Hills library, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 6.8-mile tour includes the Washburn and Nokomis libraries. Advance registration required.
