Asian-Pacific Heritage Day

Artists from the Twin Cities Asian Pacific communities facilitate activities that highlight Chinese, East Indian, Hmong, Laotian, Tibetan, Thai and Vietnamese traditions. The family day of fun includes music and dance performances, calligraphy, mini-workshops and food demonstrations. See a fashion show, take a class in Laotian weaving and view Indonesian handicrafts and displays. (Noon-4 p.m. Sat. $6-$11. Minnesota History Center, 345 W. Global Youth Service Day
