The city of Ramsey is partnering with the National Parks Service to open the bike and boat sharing service in the spring of 2016. It could be the first in the state and will allow users to paddle or peddle down the Mississippi to Minneapolis. The Parks service has secured $160,000 in funding. Ramsey already launched a free boat rental pilot project on Sunfish Lake a few years ago. Residents can check out kayaks and canoes for free. So far, itís been smooth sailing. No thefts or abuse.
