Sledding in the dark

The city of St. Paul Park says "snow or no snow … this event is a go!" Of course avid sledders will hope for a coating of white fluffy powder when the parks and recreation commission hosts its glow-in-the-dark sledding event. Prizes will be awarded for the snazziest glowing sledding outfit. Guests will be kept warm with hot cider along with a cookie. (5-7 p.m. Sat. Free. St. Paul Park City Hall, 600 Portland Av. stpaulpark.org)
