"XOXO," an exhibit that explores subtle and strong emotions, closes this weekend at the Minnesota Children's Museum. Children can play and explore the silly and serious sides of life through imaginative and creative play stations. (9 a.m.-8 p.m. today-Sat; 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun. $12.95. 10 W. 7th St., St. Paul. 651-225-6000.) Nearby at the Science Museum of Minnesota, check out "The Machine Inside: Biomechanics Exhibit" before it ends. The hands-on exhibit invites guests to explore animals and plants as sophisticated machines built for survival.
