Fall Fishing

Fall fishing in full swing

October 14, 2010 at 3:17PM

Warm, calm days has lead us into the fall fishing season. Look for walleyes with bigger minnows, redtails, shiners and creek chubs.

The Northerns are in more shallow depth than usual with crankbaits.

Crappies are going at full bore. Try 2-14 foot depths in the afternoon hours.

Crankbaits are the leader for bass, remember smallies are catch and release only until next opener.

A 50" musky was reported for Big Mantrap, the evening and night hours are the best.
