Minnesota State Fair attendance appeared to rebound a bit Friday after a sweltering heat wave this week crimped turnout to the 12-day fair.
The State Fair said Saturday that 158,164 people attended the fair on Friday, which is down from this time last year (164,694), but the second-highest attendance of the 2013 fair so far.
The record-breaking heat wave last week caused a dramatic dip in attendance. Tuesday's attendance, 94,076, was the lowest for any single day in the past six fairs.
