After 12 years in office, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak went out like he came in: with a bang. At his "UnAuguration" party at First Avenue, Rybak took to the stage, as did musicians Dave Simonett, Chastity Brown and DJ Shannon Blowtorch. Unlike those performers, Rybak body-surfed the crowd. What do you expect for an event with the motto: "Party like you can't be impeached"? While it was all in good fun, Rybak, who is the new executive director of Generation Next, intended the event to do good, as well. Proceeds from the party will benefit the STEP-UP Achieve summer-jobs program.
