Carifest

A tropical wind blowing calypso, reggae and dance hall melodies will make its way to the banks of the Mississippi this weekend. Headlining the music stage will be Nadia Batson. Festival goers can eat a variety of Caribbean foods from spicy to sweet. Guests are invited to try on a costume and dance in a carnival-style parade. (11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sat. $5, kids 12 and under free.
