Outbreaks of heavy, drenching thunderstorms will unleash torrential rain early in the week between central Texas and Lower Michigan. This corridor will span much of Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma as well.

Widespread rainfall of 1-2 inches through Tuesday evening will characterize this belt. Urban and small stream flooding will be the most far-reaching impacts.

An area of northeastern Texas, Arkansas, eastern Oklahoma and southern Missouri will get local rainfall reaching 4 to 6 inches. Here, flash flooding could be serious.
