Ryan Longwell, who has not kicked in the NFL this year after being cut by the Vikings to make way for Blair Walsh, has reportedly won a kicking tryout with the Seahawks and will be their kicker against Atlanta this weekend in the playoffs. Longwell, 38, was exceedingly accurate with the Vikings.

And yes, this means the Packers Increasingly Lost Season can only end in 1 of 2 ways:

1) They lose to the 49ers this weekend (note: this is the preferred method).

2) They win and Seattle wins, setting up a rematch of the Golden Tate game for the NFC championship. In that game, Mason Crosby shanks a key field goal while Longwell, a longtime Packers kicker, drills one to win it (note: this would be OK, too, but would involve considerably more sweat).
