Ex-Gophers Jackson added to Wolves staff

Wolves promote David Adelman, hire Jackson to coaching staff

The Wolves on Monday announced that David Adelman has been promoted ot assistant coach and that Bobby Jackson has been hired as player development coach.

Adelman served as player development coach the past two seasons, a position responsible for the team's player developement initiatives. He served as head coach of the Timberwolves Summer League team this past summer.

Jackson was an assistant coach with the Sacramento Kings the past two seasons. The former Gophersx star played 12 seasons in the NBA with six teamsk including the Timberwolves from 1998 to 2000.

Jackson helped lead the Gophers to the 1997 Final Four, an accomplishment later wiped out by the NCAA because of violations under then-coach Clem Haskins.
