Hundreds of students in grades three through five responded when asked to write essays on "Everyone Counts" -- a contest sponsored by the Star Tribune, U.S. Bank and Greater Twin Cities United Way. But we had only 10 winners, and they gathered recently for a celebration to honor their achievement -- and collect their savings bonds.
