One of the nation's most well-known evangelists is hosting a night of worship in downtown Minneapolis this month.

Author and televangelist Joel Osteen, pastor of the 40,000-member Lakewood Church in Houston, will take the Target Center stage on May 29.

"A Night of Hope" is an outreach of Joel Osteen Ministries and includes music from Dove Award-winning singer Cindy Cruse Ratcliff. Tickets are $15 and available at the box office or through Ticketmaster.

In a recent survey by New Jersey-based HCD Research, Joel Osteen ranked among the most prominent evangelists in name recognition with Americans.

Osteen, who preaches the gospel of prosperity and positive thinking, was recognized by 67 percent of those questioned. Ahead of him were Billy Graham (88 percent), Pat Robertson (80), Jimmy Swaggart (73) and Oral Roberts (69).

On April 25, the Osteens sold out the new Yankee Stadium, drawing a crowd of more than 50,000.
