If you're elected to the Anoka County Board, you may not see the world, but you might get a paid trip to Washington, D.C. Or St. Cloud.

For travel-related expenses in 2012, the county reimbursed former Commissioner Dan Erhart $3,216.37, tops among the seven board members. Nearly 75 percent of that stemmed from a five-day trip to Washington, D.C., for a conference.

Matt Look was second on the list. He was reimbursed $2,951.60 for four conferences, three of them in St. Paul.

Carol LeDoux was reimbursed $2,921.44 for three conferences; Jim Kordiak was reimbursed $2,303.71 for conferences in Pittsburgh and St. Cloud, and former Commissioner Andy Westerberg was reimbursed $2,226.60 -- all but $85 from a conference in Washington.

Board Chairwoman Rhonda Sivarajah and Robyn West each were reimbursed $463.60 for the Association of Minnesota Counties conference in St. Cloud.
