A motorist died in a crash late at night over the weekend in Elk River, authorities said Sunday.
The wreck occurred early Saturday and the driver died about 3:20 a.m. at Hennepin County Medical Center, according to the medical examiner's office.
The victim was identified as Luke A. Mogler, 21, who lived in Elk River roughly 5 miles from the crash scene.
Police have yet to disclose the circumstances surrounding the wreck, which occurred on Twin Lakes Road NW., just northwest of Twin Lakes.
