Dana Summers was the editorial cartoonist for the Orlando Sentinel for 30 years and served similar roles at newspapers in Dayton, Ohio, and Fayetteville, N.C. In addition to his editorial cartoons, Summers is the creator of the comic strip “Bound & Gagged” and the co-creator of a second strip, “The Middletons,” with fellow cartoonist Ralph Dunagin.
