Girls' tennis teams from Edina and Minnetonka have advanced to the championship match in the Class 2A state team competition, scheduled for 4 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.
In the semifinals Wednesday morning, Edina defeated Rochester Century 6-1 and Minnetonka defeated Prior Lake 4-3.
In Class 1A, it will be Blake against Annandale at 4 p.m. at Reed-Sweatt Family Tennis Center in Minneapolis. Blake reached the finals with a 7-0 victory over Waseca. In the other semifinal, Annandale defeated Rochester Lourdes.
