Eastview girls' basketball coach Paul Goetz recorded his 300th career victory Monday when the Lightning defeated Eagan 68-56. His record is 300-140 at Eastview.
Goetz has been the coach since Eastview opened in 1997. His teams have won five Lake Conference championships and have made four trips to the state tournament. The Lightning have finished second at state twice and third twice.
Eastview has a record of 14-5 this season.
