It looked good on paper a couple of days ago, but I think it's time to throw inthe towel on this one. Basically, what we'll have next Tuesday and Wednesday isthe passage of a cold front with a weak wave of low pressure running from theCarolinas to off the central Atlantic coast. At this time, we do not believethere is going to be any significant storm development along the EasternSeaboard.Therefore, rain will fall for a time through the Southeast and mid-AtlanticTuesday, while rain and snow showers occur farther north into New England. Thecharge of cold air will regenerate heavy snow in some of the Great Lakessnowbelts, but this next episode of lake-effect will not be nearly as extremeas the one occurring now.
