An Eagan man who hired a teenager online for sex was ambushed by her and two other 18-year-old women in his home, leaving him stabbed in the head, robbed and searching for a stolen car, according to charges filed in Dakota County.

Riley L. Closson, of Eagan, was charged Monday with second-degree aggravated robbery and remains jailed in lieu of $75,000 bail. The other suspects, one from Plymouth and the other from St. Peter, Minn., have yet to be charged.

According to the criminal complaint, a man identified as R.A. told police he arranged online on June 11 to hire a prostitute to come to his apartment on Silver Bell Road. Closson arrived, and he was surprised to see two other 18-year-olds with her.

The three teens demanded money from the man, who initially refused. Closson threatened that she had a gun and would kill him and his brother, M.A., who also was there.

Closson grabbed $100 that was on the counter and demanded more cash, threatening to call police and report that they had been raped by the brothers.

R.A. tried to push the teens out of his apartment, prompting Closson's cohorts to punch the man. One of them stabbed him in the temple with a pen, leaving a large and bleeding wound near his eye. Another roommate saw R.A. being punched in the head.

M.A. agreed to drive the three women to an ATM. One of the women grabbed the keys to M.A.'s car from a shelf, and the women fled.

The stolen car was spotted a few hours later in Plymouth by State Patrol, with the three teens and two males inside.

All women initially denied the encounter with the men. When left alone in the back of the squad car, they spoke about their roles in the crime, according to video and audio recordings from the police.

Closson said she saw what happened in the apartment but did not participate.
