MILWAUKEE -- Lefthanded reliever Phil Dumatrait has re-signed with the Twins, according to a tweet from his agents at Sosnick Cobbe Sports (@SosnickCobbe).

The Twins trimmed Dumatrait from their 40-man roster, so presumably this is a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training.

Dumatrait, 30, really liked his time with the Twins this season and was hoping to be back. In 45 games, he went 1-3 with a 3.92 ERA, with 25 walks and 29 strikeouts in 41 1/3 innings.
