Damaging Thunderstorm Threat Saturday
Extremely hot and humid air surging up from the south will meet up with cooler,
drier air arriving from the northwest later Saturday. A weak disturbance moving
along the jet stream will act as the trigger for thunderstorm initiation
Saturday afternoon and evening.
Even though the thunderstorms will be fairly scattered, they will be strong to
severe, causing damaging straight-line winds and large hail.
