Drought Reaches Extreme Levels

The ongoing drought across parts of Texas has reached the extreme. Forinstance, Corpus Christi, Texas, has only received 20 percent of normalrainfall so far this year! Combining the months of January and February, therewas only 0.17 of an inch of rainfall.There is some good news. A storm system could bring significant rainfall toa large part of the drought-stricken region Saturday night and Sunday.
