The State Patrol has identified the man killed in a head-on crash Thursday on Hwy. 371 in Sibley Township as Dennis Goff.
Goff, 60, of Pequot Lakes, Minn., was headed north around 6:30 a.m. when his 1999 Ford pickup struck a concrete barrier on his right. The truck then crossed into the southbound lanes where it was struck head-on by a 1998 Peterbilt semitrailer truck, the State Patrol said.
Goff was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
The driver of the semi, Daniel Thomas Jackson, 60, of Hackensack, Minn., was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured, according to the patrol.
