Driver dies in two-vehicle collision in Buffalo, Minn.

The crash occurred shortly after 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, the State Patrol said.

A two-vehicle collision west of the Twin Cities has left one person dead and two others injured, authorities said.

The collision occurred about 9:50 a.m. Thursday at Hwy. 25 and Catlin Street in Buffalo, the State Patrol said.

Karl D. Blomgren, 88, of Buffalo was driving west on Catlin when he collided with an SUV driven by Linda M. Narine, 63, of Delano, the patrol said.

Blomgren died before he could be taken to a hospital, according to the patrol. Narine and her passenger, Stephanie H. Savoy, 53, of Howard Lake, were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
