Driver dies in rollover crash in St. Paul

Authorities have yet to say what led to the car rolling over.

A driver crashed his car Tuesday night in St. Paul and died, authorities said.

The rollover wreck occurred about 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of Flandrau Street and E. Minnehaha Avenue, police said.

Officers found the driver lying in the street near his car, according to police. Fire department medics declared him dead.

Police identified the driver as James R. Gaustad, 25. He died about two hours before his 26th birthday.

Authorities have not said what led to the car rolling over.
