Donald Trump's official bid for the U.S. presidency in 2016 has put a halt on his various TV projects.
Trump announced he's running for the Republican nomination on Tuesday, telling an audience in New York City he will make America great once again while being the greatest jobs president that "God ever created."
"I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again," Trump said in a fiery speech.
His regular weekly appearances on Fox News' "Fox & Friends" have been discontinued, effective immediately, according to the network, while the fate of "Celebrity Apprentice," which he has hosted since its inception on NBC, remains up in the air.
"We will re-evaluate Trump's role as host of 'Celebrity Apprentice' should it become necessary, as we are committed to this franchise," NBC said in a statement.
Despite the denial, TMZ is citing sources saying Season 15 of the reality competition show will not air without Trump and will simply remain off the air until Trump's campaign is over.
