First off, Hello! Yes, it's been two weeks since I last posted. A brief staycation (a.k.a. school's out, someone's gotta watch the kids) and a rush of new year planning to do and stories to write has kept me from the blog.
I was still tweet tweeting, though, so I'll take this opportunity to say once again, that following me on Twitter www.twitter.com/kablog or @kablog is a great way to get inside my head more often.
I'll also point out that the blogs have been revamped yet again, for the better this time. You'll notice following me on Twitter is as easy as clicking the blue "t" and that you can also subscribe to Ka-blog! with ease using the RSS feed.
So I was driving back from the dentist today and noticed a billboard for the creditfairy.org. You know, like the tooth fairy, who I predict will visit our house for the first time within the month. I would've taken a picture, but I may be the only person on earth without a camera on my cell phone and it was way too cold anyway.
Turns out that creditfairy.org is a collaboration between the Consumer Bankers Association, The Ad Council and the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights' Education Fund.
And in the spirit of Feed the Pig and What's My Score, the site does a good job dispensing serious information about understanding and improving credit scores and reading credit reports with a light touch.
Take a look.
