Don Stolz isn't finished with theater yet. The erstwhile owner of the Old Log Theater will present his production of "The Elves and the Shoemaker" at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre in November and December.

The children's musical was adapted by Stolz with music by Tom Witry. Public performances will be at 1 p.m. Sundays, Nov. 17-Dec. 29. It has to move fast because Chanhassen will be running nightly performances of "Fiddler on the Roof." School performances will be during the week in twice-daily matinees, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Tom Stolz will direct the production, with a cast that includes Lynn Dyrhaug-Rotto, Judy Heneghan, Tom Stolz and Michael Ritchie.

Don Stolz's musicals for children were a staple at the Old Log since 1961. He has had a close relationship with the Chan for many years. Herb Bloomberg, who built and founded the dinner theater, also designed and constructed the Old Log's current theater.

Ticket information is at 952-934-1525.
