It may be the end of the innocence and the end of the Eagles. But Don Henley is going on with his solo career. He will perform Aug. 25 at the Minnesota State Fair to promote his 2015 solo country album, "Cass County."

Tickets, priced at $50 and $65, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at etix.com, 1-800- 514-3849 and the State Fair box office (only 10 a.m.-noon on Friday at the fair).

Henley has released previous pop solo albums, including "Building the Perfect Beast" and "I Can't Stand Still." His solo hits include "Boys of Summer," "End of the Innocence" and "Dirty Laundry."

With the Eagles, he sang such hits as "Desperado" and "Hotel California." The Eagles' other frontman, Glenn Frey, died in January.

Henley will appear the first night of this year's State Fair. Other grandstand acts announced thus far include the Dixie Chicks (Aug. 27-28), Bonnie Raitt (Sept. 5) and Demi Lovato/Nick Jonas (Aug. 31).
